VICTORIAN MEN'S DRESSER 1880s
I bought this Victorian Dresser about 20 Years ago when I lived in the UK. It might technically be called a "Hat Box Cabinet" but in modern parlance, "dresser".
It is 47" Tall x 50" Wide and about 24" Deep
It has
3 LARGE Main Drawers
2 Smaller Drawers (Top Left)
A "HAT BOX" Drawer (middle top + the Fake Drawers on Right)
SECRET/HIDDEN DRAWER - The long rounded part at the top is the "hidden drawer" that is about 4 in tall and will hold all your nick-nacky stuff like extra Glasses, Documents, guitar tuners, dead iphone 5 etc.
It has nicks, scuffs, and scratches, as you would expect from something that had who knows how many dads/grandpas/ use it over the last 150 years. But it is solid and has more wood in its construction than self-assemble IKEA stuff...
I Paid 500 Pounds for it 20 years ago... and I'd hate to think what it would go for in the states.
$400 or €400
Its big/heavy so you'll need a van/truck and some strong backs.
If you want to come see it, I'm in Schonaich (about 5 minutes from Panzer's front gate.
If you intention was to get some cool antiques on your Europe tour.. well... here you go!
