Transportation: Esslingen has a great bus network and is on the S1 train line. The regional bus/train station is a 25 minute walk or 11 minute bus ride from the apartment. It is also a stop for the regional ICE trains, and you can be in downtown Stuttgart in as little as 10 minutes. There is an express bus to the Stuttgart Airport which takes 40 minutes. Typical drive to Kelley Barracks is 30 minutes and to Patch Barracks is 45 minutes.
