The house is also within the school zone for DoDs and about 1-2 blocks from the school bus stop that takes kids to Panzer and Patch.
There is a famous bike path which starts near the house and takes you via 7 different bier gardens and restaurants while biking along this lovely valley!

Waldenbuch is a historical walled city perfectly located about 15-20 minutes from Patch Barracks, 10-15 minutes from Panzer Barracks, and about 15 minutes from Kelly Barracks. It is also a short 15 minutes to the Airport and 20-25 minutes to downtown Stuttgart. There is the famous Ritter Sport chocolate factory exactly 1 mile away from the house. Population is approximately 9,000 people, small and quaint with everything you need. There are schools, kindergardens, libraries, great restaurants, grocery stores, soccer fields, parks, playgrounds, and even a nice little bar. There are also at least 4 bier gardens around town ! Waldenbuch is also at the edge (just north) of a large nature reserve/park with miles and miles of trails through the forest. From the house (about 1 block away) there are paths that go into the forest and connect through all the way to Patch barracks if you are interested in commuting to work by bike. It takes about 45 minutes to get to Patch and it is a 38km round trip commute through the forest. There are great paths for walking, biking, or even mountain bike ride! Waldenbuch is well known in the Stuttgart area as a great place to live!
